In case anyone is confused as to why i tag the tattoos i do with “vegan tattoo” even if they aren’t vegan related… It’s because the tattoo itself is vegan. ALL tattoos done by me are completely vegan. The entire process is vegan. Just so we are all on the same page.

Foie Gras… just forced fed ducks and geese, process so violent that many die with their organs ruptured or choked on their own vomit… forced feeding aims to bloat their livers up to 10 times the normal size, this will leave them unable to stand, developing infections, sometimes liver necrosis, spleen damage, bruised and broken bills and lumps in their throats… the animals are kept in poor conditions, small and dirty cages… and then, as you can see in the picture, the liver is harvested - according to the source - while they are still alive.
Paté Foie Gras… solo patos y gansos alimentados a la fuerza, proceso tan violento que muchos mueren con sus organos reventados o asfixiados con su propio vómito… la alimentación forzada busca hinchar sus higados hasta 10 veces su tamaño normal, esto los dejará siendo incapaces de mantenerse en pie, desarrollando infecciones, a veces necrosis de higado, daño en bazo, picos amoratados o rotos, bultos en la garganta… los animales son mantenidos en condiciones terribles, jaulas pequeñas y sucias… y luego, como pueden ver en la foto, el higado es recolectado - de acuerdo con la fuente - mientras aun están vivos.
